2015 Howard College Rodeo (Archive)

Hawk Rodeo

It’s rodeo time with the Howard College Hawk rodeo team! You won’t want to miss the only chance you get to see the Hawk rodeo team in action in their home rodeo arena.

“This is a great family friendly event where everyone can get outside, enjoy some fresh air, and watch some competitive college rodeo,” said Percy Molesworth, interim head rodeo coach. “Our kids look forward to having the home town crowd come out to support them.”

Howard College competes in the Southwest Region of the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association and it is widely known as one of the most competitive regions in the nation. The region consists of community colleges as well as universities.

The rodeo is held at the Howard County fair grounds in the Big Spring Rodeo Bowl.
