Associate Head Coach Addie Lees
Addie Lees is in her second season with the Howard College women’s basketball program. Before coming to Howard College, Lees was a graduate assistant women’s basketball coach for Eastern New Mexico University for two years while earning her Master of Science degree in 2011.
She played collegiate basketball at the University of Arkansas-Monticello under Chris Ratcliff, who is now their athletic director. She helped the Cotton Blossoms go to the national tournament in 2009. Lees graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Health and Physical Education.
Lees also played for Midland College coached by Ron Jones and received an Associates Degree in General Studies in 2006.
A native of Plainview, Texas, she attended Plainview High School, and as a point guard Lees won two state championships in 2002 and 2003.
Lees had a state runner-up finish as a senior in 2004 for Danny Wrenn and the Plainview Lady Bulldogs. She was also an all-district player for basketball and volleyball in 2004.
