Assistant Coach Lester Jourdan

Assistant Coach Lester JourdanCoach Jourdan made his way to Big Spring, Texas via Iowa, Louisiana.  Having rodeoed at Howard College from 2002-2004, Lester knows the competition in the Southwest Region and most importantly the expectations that come from Coach Kernick.  Lester began his employment with Howard College in the fall of 2006.  

Having participated in rodeo competition as a youth and through high school, Jourdan has qualified for the National Little Britches Finals as well as the National High School Finals Rodeo.  At present, Lester still competes in the team roping and tie-down roping.

Coach Jourdan is a huge asset to the Howard College Rodeo program and assists in the daily operations of one of the best programs in the NIRA.
