In his first year on the college level, Tanner Morris joins the Hawks' basketball coaching staff from Normal, Illinois.  Tanner graduated with a BS from Lincoln College - Normal with a Sports Management major.  Tanner's first two years in college were completed at Illinois Valley Community College where he played varsity golf and worked as the Men's Basketball team statistician and manager. 

His additional coaching experience includes serving as the assistant golf coach at University High School where he helped lead the Pioneers to their 4th, 5th and 6th straight state championships.  His basketball coaching experience includes assistant coach fora Junior High boy's team that finished in the Elite 8 of the state tournament and two years as an assistant of the University High School girl's basketball program under former Division I coach, and father, Bob Morris.

During this past year, Tanner has worked for his father at the Midwest Collegiate basketball camp and has been leading individualized workouts for local Division I basketball players.
