Meesha enters her 3RD season as an assistant coach with the Lady Hawks. She oversaw post-play helped lead Kayla Massop to All conference Honors. She also led the charge of the team’s #1 Academic Ranking in the state of Texas for 2year schools by overseeing study halls, tutoring, grade reports, etc… She is in charge of strength and conditioning and helps Coach Ish in all facets of the program.

Meesha Wade joined Howard College following 2 years as a Graduate assistant coach at Texas A&M University-Kingsville. Meesha Wade had duties of Recruiting, Academics, Budgeting, and skill development with the guards and forwards.

Originally from Dallas, TX. Meesha graduated from Lakeview Centennial High School where she lettered 3 years. Meesha was 1st team all-district during her junior and senior year.

Meesha played for Frank Phillips College from 2013-2015 and was named on the all-conference team both years. Upon graduating from FPC in 2015, Meesha continued her playing career at Texas A&M University- Kingsville from 2015-2017. She was a part of the team that took down the number 1 seed ENMU in the LSC Conference Tournament.

Meesha earned her Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and History in 2017 and her Master’s degree in Education at Texas A&M University- Kingsville in 2019.
