Assistant Coach Scott Barnum rejoins Howard College in his first year as a coach. He works primarily with pitchers and catchers.
Coach Barnum comes to Howard College from Abilene Christian University. Barnum was the student assistant coach at ACU in the shortened 2020 season. During this time he helped with pitchers, catchers and outfielders. During games served as bullpen coach, and helped with day to day activities, such as Trackman data and charts, and on field duties.
Barnum a former Howard Hawk, attended Howard In 2017-2018, He then went on to play at Abilene Christian University, where he obtained his degree in Sociology.
