Hawk Baseball ended the year with a Super Regional run in Weatherford, Texas. After a big series win over Grayson College to advance to Super Regional play, the red and black started off the run Thursday, May 14, against Midland. The head-to-head with the Chaps went into extras but ultimately ended in a 14-13 loss for the Hawks.
The loss to the Chaps sent the red and black into the loser's bracket, scheduling a date with the host team, Weatherford College. The matchup with the Coyotes ended early after a large lead for the home team, ending in a 12-1 final, closing out the season.
Overall, the Hawks finished out the year 31-27 and 21-15 in conference play.
