Abrianna Lawrence Claims WJCAC Player of the Week Honor

Freshman guard Abrianna Lawrence has been named Region 5 WJCAC Player of the Week for the first time in her career following an outstanding performance during the week of Feb. 16-22.

Lawrence delivered an efficient and impactful showing, finishing 8-10 from the field and an impressive 6-8 from beyond the arc. She totaled 22 points while also contributing across the stat sheet with six steals, four assists and three rebounds. Her all-around effort played a major role in the Lady Hawks' success during the week.

"Abri does all the little things for us," said Head Coach Al Davis. "She can score, defend, and rebound. Very high IQ point guard and I am glad she was able to be recognized for her big game. I am very happy for her!"

The freshman continues to make an immediate impact in her first season in the red and black, showcasing her ability to lead the offense while creating opportunities on both ends of the floor.

Congratulations to Abri Lawrence on earning Region 5 WJCAC Player of the Week honors!
